The Architect Flavio Taietti and Arnaboldi Interiors, together we are stronger, creating truly innovative projects.

A new challenge for design to breathe life into an anonymous, narrow and long space, with a single window view of a street in the centre of Como, Italy. This is an important location in the small pedestrian alleys of the walled city, increasingly visited by international tourists.

The final result is the ‘dematerialisation’ of the tunnel effect, obtained thanks to the asymmetrical design of the storage furnishings leaning against the perimeter walls from which they detach, in a random fashion, wonderfully defining a new and unusual sales area.

The furniture is made of ‘Olive-type wood’ laminate on the outside, while the herbaceous green colour stands out on the inside and the tops. In addition to the refined shades, the five styled ‘trees’ offer their branches to display the products, which now take centre stage. In practice, they replace the traditional shelves, creating a completely different look, especially in the evening when the backlighting gives rise to this wonderful feel and atmosphere.

Passing beyond the checkout area, the interior becomes a little more intimate, with the walls covered with floral wallpaper in line with the theme of herbal treatments – here a small relaxation area has been created where customers, comfortably seated in an armchair, can taste, before buying them, the natural herbal teas that the store is also licensed to sell.

A bygone, authentic carpenter’s bench from Cantù, expertly brought to life by skilled and experienced hands, is used as a horizontal display for other types of goods and products.

The goal achieved is the true enhancement of a new concept of herbalism, with a project that offers an international design, curated by the Architect Flavio Taietti, who chose Arnaboldi Interiors as a partner for the wonderful implementation of all furnishings.
